Book of days

"you're young untill you're not
you laugh untill you cry
you cry untill you laugh"

texto: Regina Spektor, "On the radio"

No, I not only write when my existence seems tragic. But confrontation with the basics of life is more and more an undeniable fact to me. Through the window of my attic no longer the skies are eternal blue. Sometimes the window has a view to the basement and the stairs are hard to climb be it upwards or downwards. Backwards too. Crabwalk style.

In the small little apocalypses of life, the biggest joy is the birth squeeze of every newborn. And reborn. The world ends so many times before our eyes. To be rebuilt soon after, with or without us laying the bricks.

How long the scattered vision? I may be breaking out. Help. I may be breaking out.

Por isso, desde púlpito mudo, te escrevo. Desculpa-me a dor e a perda de orientação e sentido. A falta de respiração. A voz tolhida, mal ouvida.

Culpa. Culpa.

Dói-me a alma. Lembras-te de o dizermos tanta vez? Do nosso inesgotável reportório?

the hardest part

"And I tried to sing
But I couldn't think of anything
And that was the hardest part"

texto: "The Hardest Part", Cold Play

E aqui ficar.

Fade away. Fade away. Fade away. E não há mão que me ampare, que me entre corpo-dentro, me perfure e extraia a segregação angustiada.

Spinning. Spinning Spinning.
